Today was a fantastic day for the Ladies from Louisville! They gave it their all and ended up in third place in the EBC/Tri-County Post-Season Tournament with a score of 340. While just behind second-place Carrollton with a 335, Garroway put a bit more distance between them with a 305. Louisville placed 3rd out of 15 teams, which is a huge accomplishment. And what's even more exciting is that 340 was the lowest team score in the last two years. Coach Bart Keiser is so proud of his Lady Leps girls for standing up and being accounted for!
They performed well, acted like disciplined athletes, and were every bit the representatives Louisville could hope for. Great effort, performance, and confidence booster for the Stark County Invitational on Saturday at the Lady Leopard's home course!
Here are the scores from today.
Peyton - 79
Anna - 84
Natalie - 87
Isabelle - 90
Brooklyn 118
There was lots of hardware handed out today. Peyton Biery, Louisville's captain, accepted the 3rd place plaque for the tournament and she got right back up and accepted our runner-up plaque for their finish in the Northern Division of the EBC for the season. Natalie Warner, (17th), and Anna Myers, (13th) were awarded second-team medals for placing in the top 20 of 91 girls in the tournament and Peyton Biery, (6th) was awarded a first-team medal for placing in the top 10 girls in the tournament.
For the season, the awards these young ladies earned did not stop. Both Isabelle Tack and Natalie Warner earned 2nd Team All-Northern Division for the EBC and Anna Myers and Peyton Biery earned First Team All-Northern Division honors. This team is not done and is catching fire at the right time
